Dr. Oliver Kisaka Simiyu is a renowned leader, theologian and governance expert who has made a significant contribution to the academic, civic, development, and faith-based sectors for over 30 years. As CORAT Africa’s Managing Director, he spearheads institutional building through training, research, and consulting.
Dr. Kisaka holds a PhD in Church and State Studies, a master’s degree in biblical and theological studies and a bachelor’s degree in education (Mathematics and Physics). His extensive contributions include peacebuilding, civic education, post-election reconciliation, inter-religious dialogue, and the coordination of national forums on democracy and governance.
Fredrick Olweny has a background in Human Resource Management, having a B.Com (Human Resource Management, B.Com (Strategic Management & Advanced HRM) – and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in HRM. He is an Associate Member of Institute of Human Resource Management Kenya.
Fredrick has extensive experience in Project Management, Strategic Management, Strategic Planning Development/Reviews, Job Evaluations, Assessments, Organizational Capacity Assessments, Policy Development and Reviews.
Emmanuel Siundu Waya is a results-driven hospitality professional with over 15 years of leadership experience in hotel and conference facility management. He is currently serving as the Hospitality and Services Manager at CORAT Africa. Emmanuel has a BSc. in Hospitality Management, a Diploma in Hotel Management and is currently pursuing an MBA in Strategic Management.
Isaac Mungai is a Strategic Development consultant and trainer with extensive experience in the field. He has over 15 years of training, consulting, and management expertise. He is pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration and holds a master’s degree in business administration (Strategic Management) and a bachelor’s degree in Education (Arts).
Isaac possesses a tremendous amount of experience in various consulting assignments such as Organizational Capacity Assessments, Project Management, Strategic Planning Development and Reviews, Evaluations/Assessments, Policy Development and Reviews.
Dr. John Makokha is a seasoned business management and development expert with over 12 years of diverse experience spanning project management, corporate strategy, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), and fundraising across Africa and beyond. He holds a PhD in Management, an MBA (Business Administration and BSc (Agricultural Economics). He is also an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Annette Adhiambo Oloo is a development practitioner with over 10 years of experience in programme administration and consulting. She also serves as a training facilitator and currently holds the position of Programmes Administration and Human Resource Officer at CORAT Africa.
Annette holds a master’s degree in Development Studies (Organizational Development), a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Media Studies (Public Relations) and a Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management. She is also an Associate Member of the Institute of Human Resource Management Kenya.
Fredrick Odhiambo Ogutu is a highly skilled finance professional with over 7 years’ experience in accounting, taxation, auditing and corporate finance. He is currently the Finance Officer at CORAT Africa, where he oversees financial operations with a particular emphasis on operational effectiveness and compliance.
Fredrick holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration (Finance and Banking) and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K).
