Training Courses
Since its inception, CORAT Africa has been running various training courses to meet the management needs of the churches and Christian organizations in Africa. The courses are carefully and flexibly designed to management capabilities of staff and CORAT’s varied clients across the continent.
Broadly, the training services are divided into two categories, Pan-African Residential courses and In-Country courses as shown below;
- Pan-African Residential Courses
These Pan-African courses are aimed at equipping leaders of churches and church-based organizations with good management skills. At the present time, they are run at the CORAT Management and Development Centre (CMDC) located at Bogani East Road, Lang’ata in Nairobi, Kenya next to the CORAT Africa offices. Participants from across the continent representing different denominations apply for the residential course suitable to their specific needs.
- Tailor-Made Courses (In-Country Courses)
In addition to the Pan-African Residential courses, CORAT Africa also conducts In-Country client determined courses, workshops, seminars etc, which are Tailor-Made course to match the client’s needs. The topics and duration depends on the clients’ needs. Its advantage is that it reaches more participants in a given location; hence it’s more cost effective.
